The Very Best Of Fleetwood Mac ()

Yet again...pre-1975 Fleetwood Mac has been thrown out for another "best of" collection. The late 80's Greatest Hits album, didn't have anything, and The Chain box set had only 1/4 of the material dedicated to the early stuff. Danny Kirwin, Bob Welch, Peter Green, Linsey Buckingham, and Christine Mcvie....they are the very best of Fleetwood Mac. Unfortunately, only two of those members are represented on this collection. It does feature a lot of good material from ONLY the Buckingham/Nicks era, like "What Makes You Think You're the One", and "World Turning" They are both stand-out classic Mac tracks. I'm not dissing this collection as a whole, but the title has got to go. At least they could have put 1975-Present on it. I think the early members of Fleetwood Mac got dissed more than anyone. If you want to get the very best of Fleetwood Mac you would have to go back to 1967 to include songs written then as well. Plus, you could buy all of their records from 1969-1981...in the end, that's the very very best.
