After school today, you smiled and looked my way
I asked you out - the following night
you said 'gee, It'll be alright'
oh-oh, Jenny Lee

I took you to a dance, never thought I'd get the chance
to hold you near - the way I do
for you to say your love is true
oh-oh, Jenny Lee

Everynight I dreamed about you,
I just can't live without you.
Needing you near - everyday,
uh-oh, don't go away.

If you do I'd cry, I would surely die
Nothing would be - the same for me
'cause your the only one for me,
uh-oh, Jenny Lee

Everynight I dream about you,
I just can't live without you.
Needing you near - everyday,
uh-oh, don't go away.

If you do I'd cry, I would surely die
Nothing would be - the same for me
'cause your the only one for me,
uh-oh, Jenny Lee

One of Jeremy's most underrated tracks ever!
Review written by Mikey_Ramone91, January 29th, 2015

I first discovered this song after I downloaded the DVD-Audio version of 'Live at the BBC' (recorded 1970, released 1995-2002). It was on Saturday, January 17, 2015, around four or five o'clocks in the afternoon, when I was in a coffeeshop downloading this! I eventually fell in love with the song and just yesterday, January 28, I did a performance of it onstage in the Acoustic bar named "Yui" - a local and small bar near my place. I notice that the version in the original studio album (1970) was in a higher pitch (higher key tone) and if you play it on the guitar, you want the song to be originally, just put the capo on first fret. And the BBC 1995 release CD + DVD-A, just take the capo off the fret and play the open chords! Loooove it so much!
