    Lyrics »

I don't need no fancy car just to drive me from A to B
And I don't need no helicopter
baby, to satisfy the needs in me
Well all that I need, is a little understanding, a little bit of tenderness
Oh and a man that can hold me, he aint afraid to show me his sweet caress

We may not have a million, but what we've got aint for sale
Because baby, in the morning, and even in the afternoon, and in the evening
I want to be close to you well......

We don't need diamonds to put on my hands and my toes
Well now maybe just a few wouldn't hurt me no,
But if I hadn't got you I wouldn't know where to go
Cos I need a little understanding, you may say it's a lot
But what I've got is my love for you baby that no one will ever stop

We may not have a million, but what we've got aint for safe
Because baby, in the morning, and even in the afternoon, and in the evening
I want to be close to you well......

.....What we've got aint for sale, what we've got aint for sale, what we've got aint for sale, oh baby what we've got aint for sale

We may not have a million, but what we've got aint for sale
Because baby, in the morning, and even in the afternoon, and in the evening and even in the afternoon.....

Spaniel Songs Ltd. Deborah Bonham: 'I originally wrote this song with Peter in double time. When it came to recording it, Mo suggested to me that we did it in half time - he felt it would give it a better groove. Dougie Boyle played guitar and Mo did live bass with him. Of course Mo was right, the groove was perfect and I was a happy bunny.....'
