Baby tell me where did we go wrong, in everything we seem to do
Nothing has ever been easy, but all I guess I really need is you
Though sometimes you make me sad
And sometimes, sometimes you make me so mad, I can't walk away from you...
I know I'm no angel, but I'm asking you please, a little bit of patience would not hurt you
After all we've been through
Well I know there's things that I do, that make you wish you could leave me too
But oh no, though I try so hard, just to make everything, everything happen that we dreamed of
But baby sometimes you make my cry
And sometime, sometimes I wonder why I cant walk away from you....
I know I'm no angel, but I'm asking you please baby, a little bit of patience would not hurt you
After all we've been through ... oh....

I know I'm no angel, but I'm asking you please, a little bit of patience would not hurt you
After all we've been through.... oh.....
A little bit of patience..... oh a little bit of patience......

Spaniel Songs Ltd. Deborah Bonham: 'Inspired by Otis Redding and written for Peter.... This is one of my favourite songs. I'd sung it live on tour and had found that I'd lose myself completely when singing it - as did the band - and we would go into a jam session at the end which, for us, was amazing. However, when it came to recording it in the studio, I wasn't quite getting the same feel. Then Andy Reilly came to my aid. I'd known Andy for a while and knew him to be a great engineer. I was to find out how great. Our personalities instantly clicked. He gave me the sound and made me sing like never before. He set the track up and, after one take, I'd got it. We then went wild for a few days...... "I know I'm no angel...."'
