Well, it's been kind of quiet lately, ol' Sparky's not the same.
He hasn't touched his Alpo or come when I call his name.
He gets up the morning, goes to your side of the bed,
Sniffs at his pillow; sees you're gone and drops his head.
Well, I guess he heard us fightin', now I think he's mad at me.
Cuz you were his favorite person, and he thinks I made you leave.
I swear that dog is human, you know he believes it too.
And no one's gonna miss you more than me and Sparky do.
And I speak for the dog, he feels so alone.
And, I speak for the dog, when I say, baby, won't ya please come home.
His ears perk up and listen at the slightest little noise.
His tail begins to wag when he hears a woman's voice.
I hate to leave him here, but he won't go out with the boys.
I don't know what to do, 'ol Sparky misses you.
So I guess I speak for Sparky, he can't tell you for himself.
You know he gets so stubborn, and he really needs your help.
So, it isn't me who's askin,' although I guess I miss you too.
No one's gonna love ya more than me and Sparky do.
