A great pop Oriented Entry by Mayall
Review written by (PKutscera@aol.com), September 13th, 2008

I've read reviews of this song and noticed that none of the personnel line-ups mention Mayall playing the piano which is so integral to this song. It is wonderful upbeat pop number whose simple bass/piano line is complemented perfectly by Clapton's very elemental guitar work. In fact, the song hides as much as it reveals; Clapton's seemingly simple riff is repeated at the end of the song against the pounding bass and piano for a great finale. The lyrics form an image of innocent, unabashed love; the kind that's hard to find.
Clapton's playing is reminiscent of Peter Green's on "The Supernatural" but only adds to the upbeat flavor of this tune.
Played this number in my own band, and it was always received enthusiastically.
A GREAT piece of work which still brings a smile 40 years on.
