When I was only six years old
My favorite thing to see
Were all my faithful cowboy stars riding on TV
They’d rop and they’d sing and they’d save the day
From the backs of their four footed friends
And I’d ride right beside them every night
Until we’d meet again
Over and over and over again
I’d ride that wild horse
Toss my heart to the wind
If I took a fall I’d just get up again and then
I’d climb back on that wild horse all over again
When I became a woman
At the age of seventeen
I thought he would be the answer
To all of my dreams
But years turned into yesterdays
And I faced this world full grown
Ifound that losing my very first love
Was the easiest los I would know
Over and over and over again
I’d ride that wild horse
Toss my heart to the wind
If I took a fall I’d just get up again and then
I’d climb back on that wild horse all over again
So now I’m facing Heartbreak Hill
One last and painful time
And though i swear I never will again
I know I might
Cause my heart will heal and I’ll be whole
In time for love’s command
And just like when I was six years old
I’ll ride that horse again
