To Rob Cavallo, producer of the year and my broccoli bro: you took (me) under your wing and showed me what making a record's all about! You gave me a chance to tell my story and fulfill my vision. Remember, if there ain't no moonshine on the reservation, we always got our broccoli high. To Julian Raymond, the romper-comper, gutter punk foot-stomper, who gave me the balls to sing!

To Rick Nielsen and Steve Hunter for being the best heroes a kid could have and living up to all my dreams. To Stevie Nicks, for bringing your magic down from the Heavens above!

Special thanx where it all began - the Basement Boys: Bam Bam, Share Ross, Alex Kane and Jo Almeida. You are my family for life after all the riffs and jams. You guys pulled my shit together and helped make music for my wordz. You helped me grow as a person, and I promise to use the extra inches I've been given.

Big 'ol special thankx to Bob Clearmountain for taking the words outta my mouth, and bringing 'em "UP" in the mix and for always knowin' what I was trying to say when all I could come come up with was, "Where the guitars, muthafucka?' Thanks to Tal for the shave and the sound effects and to David Boucher at Mix This.

Thankx to the engineers, Greg Goldman and Bryan Cook at A&M Studios, as well as engineers Rod "Fingers" O'Brian, Greg D'Angelo and Rob Lang at Jake's Place.

To the Big Cheese, Bob Cavallo, Sr., for pumpin' me full of buffet food, trust and love and David Berman for lettin' me in the door and to John Dee for your Bel Age bashes, Tigers Bars and discovering a rock in a hard place. And for everybody else at Hollywood Records who's been lookin' out for us - Mark Di Dia, Dave Snow and Lisa Allen, Charles D'Atri, Dan Hubbard, Joey Scoleri and the promotion crew (we're gonna take it to #1!), Sue Sawyer, Katy Krassner, Cheryl, Stacy and Brendon.

Off the top, special thanx to my first rock 'n roll family - all my dudes at MTV for giving me a home but keeping me on the street: "Lightnin'" Rod Aissa (thanx for always lookin' out for me), Caryn Posnansky (hugs for keepin' me in line), Marni Malter, Andrew DeGiacomo, Michelle Giunta, Summer Strauch, Rob Niebling, Pete Menzies, Mike Powers the Goatie, Deb Savo, Joe DeMaio, Rick Ernst, Bernadette Yabut, Robin Nish, Ann Marie Gaynor, Steve Paley, Mark Levine, Rachel Frimer, Geoff Kaehn, Frank Kozak, Steve Van Patten, Adam Freeman and all you guys in the MTV studio crew. A yank and a thank to my on-air buddies: Carson, Ananda, Matty P., Skribble, Tyrese, Dave Holmes, Kurt the Boulder, John and Serena U-Rule. And to all the MTV radio dudes - Matt Farber, Michelle Roberts, Roger Coletti, Joanne Hankey and Tim Reid - for bringing the sound to the blasters 'cross the nation. Extra thanx to Gigi "Sugar-Never-Ever-Tasted-So-Sweet" Bell and Santos and his Starwatchers, for watchin' my ass, and my ladies in wardrobe, Lauren Goldstein, Jimmy Hanrahan, Danielle Kraydman, Cyndi Wheat, Kat and Julia and Kristi Fuhrman in make-up. And most definiely to all the dudes upstairs for lettin' me cause chaos on the air: Judy McGrath, Van Toffler, Dave Siruinick, Sally Frattini, Bob Kusbit, Tony DeSanto, Mitch Goldstein, Tony DiBari, Rick Hankey and Patrick Burns.

To Larry Rudolph, Vivien Rachles, Stu Stein, Judy Rose, Gary Karshmer and Julia Cabrera: I'm blessed having you guys in my life. Thanx for taking care of business and bring on my side.

This record is dedicated to Charlie Stettler and Lynda West. Charlie, you've fought hard for me and struggled and looked past the ugliness and believed in the goodness underneath. There's no way I can thank you for everything but that's alright 'cause if I could, then I could no longer be your little prick.

To my sweet sister Marisha, this record is especially for you becuase if I hadn't had you in my life I never would've made it as far as I have. This is our record.

To Henriette 'n' Holden, Justin, Kathy, Jon, John & Grandma, Karsten, Nana, Mr. & Mrs. Messinger, Steven Sessions, Pattie & Ryan Hughes, Amanda and the Food Bag crew, Salmon Brookers and Big Yers, Kat, Brian, Liane, Sarah, Christina Karaponos and your Pizza Family, Jay Potter, Shaque (Strontium Dog), Laura Dixon, Bob Adams, George, Frances, the Eggplant Twins, Greg, Pat C., Jeff, Andrew, Laura M., Alice and Paul for being there, Liz S., Jeanna, Beth (Virginia Beach), Stacy K, NYU & Parsons Mamas, Crook, Spencer, Nick, Mr. & Mrs. Hess, Anna, Sarah on the dole and all my LC buds, Matt, Brendan F., Gary Cadot and Music Outlet, Platterpus Records and the Westfield Crew, Riverside Parkers, Jack Ponte, Nikki, Mama Ponte, and my friends Guitar Pete Brasino ("ya big hard-on"), your mom and dad who treated me extra special and Big Anthony and Cousin John and my "Mama" Heidi.

All the kidz I've met from Lowell to Louisville: Sprout, Brendan, Stitches, Beth, Robbie the slobbie (Eunice), Gerr, Grid, Harry, Suffolk Steve, and in L.A. and Las Vegas: Hed P.E., Cory, Rikki, Susan Ianetti, Motley, Ozzy, Soulfly, Korn (Fieldy too), Monster Magnet and Limp Bizkit. New Yorkers the Toilet Boys, Candy Ass, L.E.S. Stitches, Gretch, Cory, Faggie Maggie, Lexie, Sammy, Ivan, Rachel, Sebastian and Maria Bach, Keith (Space Ace) and the Roberts family, Shawn, Joe, Mike, Spike, Adam, All Coney Island Highers and Eighth Streeters and Fry, Fanny, Matty, Brendan the Doormat and all the Tompkins Creatures.

These are some of the things I've learned in life and some of the friends I've made in it. It's been an amazin' nineteen years that I've lived so far. For every place I've traveled to and visited I've always left with a souvenir. Some black eyes, broken hearts, bad trips and dirty looks have been thrown my way. But those mean shit next to all the hugs, free riders, unconditional love and luck that I've taken with me. I'd never have come as far as I have without all I've been given. Sometimes I feel like I'm walkin all alone. But you know you never really are. Even though I've probably logged too many miles, a lot of beautiful people have carried me along the way. And I ain't just talkin' about the gas money...

Remember that people will always try to break your heart and spirit. If their own hearts have been broken. Don't fall into the cycle. If your heart chooses a different path than the one chosen for you by others, follow your heart and be who you want to be. You may (have) to leave home and give up on some you tried to love to do so but, remember, your family ain't the people you're born to, it's the real people who love you for your heart and spirit and will do anything to keep them whole. There are kids and families from Daytona to Oklahoma to Beaumont that have taken me in and given me real love especially here on Eighth Street. It's a hard fight to lose the feelings of shame people try to put on us + I'll do whatever it takes to make sure we're never made to fell weak. You're not alone and you're not a freak. You're beautiful. You've always got friends here in New York. We'll be with you no matter where you are.

Your Big Brother
Jesse

GLAM ROCK / 70's N.Y. if you're not into that stay away
Review written by Lester, July 16th, 2010

Stop focusing on Jesse Camp!!!!!!!! The guy is just a kid fronting an amazing, one of a kind, glam/proto punk band. Talented musicans with huge personalities as Bam Ross and Joe Almeida from legendary Dogs d'Amour, Share Ross former Vixen, the one and only Alex Kane 100% sheer genius from Life Sex and Death, the mind behind Anti-product. Behind the glass we find Ric Browde (Faster Pussycat, Poison, Joan Jett, Ted Nuget etc.) Jesse just sing (reminds of Richard hell) but nothingh more than that. He haven't wrote a single note of this songs, not even the vocal lines. The songs are so good, one of the finest example of what is glam punk. In the mood of New York Dolls, early Alice Cooper, Iggy plus Williamson, Ramones, Richard Hell, Johnny Thunders, Wayne County, Jim Carrol, Dictators, Joan Jett etc. plus a super taste for great hooks and a little 90s alternative touch. Lovely!

90's bubblegum attempts to live
Review written by John Fitzgerald, February 26th, 2005

"My little savior" (billed as "Savior" on the outside packaging) is definitely out of step with the rest of the album, an acoustic ballad with Stevie supporting on vocals. It's rather sophomoric but good enough to be able to say that it saves this from being a pathetic release. The rest of the material seems to be attempting to be the bubblegum rock of the 90's but fails miserably as it can't decide if it wants to go grunge or metal. Obviously, it's not supposed to be taken that seriously and amounts to at best nothing more than a novelty record but if there's any satire or parody, it's well hidden unless the spelling of "kidz" was an attempted stab at Slade but I'd like to give them more credit than thinking they stayed up all night thinking up that as their punchline.

In defense (God help me) of Jesse Camp
Review written by Nate B, February 26th, 2005

Jesse's album is NOT confused. It is a straight up, glam rock album. Obvious influences are The New York Dolls and T. Rex. Joan Jett is also a clear influence. Although there are sophmoric moments, the muscianship is there.
