Review written by from Minneapolis, April 3rd, 2006

This is the best blues album I have. I fear for its longevity and would like to find a copy on CD.

A knock out winner of a two record album! (5/5.05/5.05/5.05/5.05/5.0)

I still have the original Album in mint condition as I played the album once or twice and recorded it to cassette.Even then I knew this was a master piece of Blues history.
I have, however been looking for this fabulous collection of musicans and songs to be remastered so I can buy it again!

I also loaned mine to a friend back in '76 never to return. This was one of the best blues compilations ever, and by the best of the British musicians. Will it ever be reissued? We can only wish and pray.

I have this album a must for blues fans (5/5.05/5.05/5.05/5.05/5.0)

thought was a friend and never got it back. This

The best comprehensive collection of British Blues (5/5.05/5.05/5.05/5.05/5.0)
Review written by bluesrecords_at_hotmail.com from Connecticut, December 22nd, 2004

This album was one heck of a find for me - It was one I listened to a lot (and still do) . An album that peaked my curiousty and had me seeking out more early and sometimes out-of-print British blues albums here in the US during the mid 1970s. Fleetwood Mac's version of Otis Rush's Homework is awesome and Mike Vernon did one heck of a job putting this double album together. I wish someone would remaster this album for CD - it is excellent.

Great Review of Early British Blues (4/5.04/5.04/5.04/5.04/5.0)
Review written by Anonymous from Weare, NH, December 22nd, 2004

Great insight to the blues of the sixties. The beginnings of some of the greats in music history.
The only way to make this album better would be to have it on CD. Is it available? Please! Please!

This was a COOL LP I listened to wile Cruisin' (5/5.05/5.05/5.05/5.05/5.0)
Review written by Big Mob (mpmob@webtv.net), December 22nd, 2004

This was my Ace in the hole LP. I listened to all the good British groups, but, when I wanted a variety of down to earth American Black Blues Jams performed by talented White Blues Musicians that where the BEST at there craft. I whent for this Lp or the cassette I dubbed for cruisin'. It was one of my FAV'S. I would LOVE to own another copy of this, especially on CD. So hook me up if possible.
