Man Of The World (5/5.05/5.05/5.05/5.05/5.0)
What can I say?
Review written by A.D. Lee from Brisbane, Australia, May 21st, 2007

Nothing!. Speechless, that's what I said, when I saw this rare vinyl album sitting in the local music dealer's shop.

From the opening bars of "Man of the World" to the closing chord of "I believe my time ain't long" this album is stunning.

You get all the absolute hand's down classics "Black Magic Woman" and "Albatross", the knockout punch of "Oh Well Pt.1" the sinister foreboding "Green Manalishi [With the Two Pronged Crown], the soulful' "Need Your Love So Bad" and the swingin' "Looking For Somebody" and the rest are all better than all other musicians musical output, from then til' now actually.

To this day all The Green Manalishi in the World couldn't stop me from loving and cherishing Peter Green, Danny Kirwan, Mick Fleetwood and John McVie's 3 years of spectacularly accomplished offerings.

If this album only had "Closing My Eyes" I could die now knowing I felt, held, loved and shared "The Complete Mac" with whomever is willing to listen.

Until I get that track on wax, I will still be searching for and living The Fleetwood Mac.

Just play "Oh Well" to your children when they ask What's Rock&Roll?
