CommentsI've always loved this song. I first heard it when Roy Orbison had a big hit with it. Later, I heard and loved the original Willie version. Our take is lower and slower. Because this guy is crazy sad. Everything's nice and pretty. There's laughter in the air. But it all goes on all around him. In the middle of it all, he just sits and cries. You see him. You know it.
