Interesting Review written by Chris Horsefield, October 18th, 2014 I came across this album at a car boot sale in London. Interesting that the bass player was no other than Bob Brunning and Mark Stroud. (Author Mark A. Cooper)
Brunning was also an bass player for Fleetwood Mac, my favorite band, and Mark Stroud a former pupil of Bob's at Woodmansterne School and went on to become a children's best selling author.
The solo sung by Mark A. Cooper (Stroud) is raw, his voice has the cockney accent on some of the phrasing, at first I thought "Oh Dear" but when I listen closer it's actually quite cute and charming.
Our strange that these two would meet like this, I wonder if they kept in touch?
Bob's bass playing on the song Amazing Grace is perfect, he does not get too heavy to drown out the un-broken voices of the Cubs Scouts but comes in heavy at the right time.
Bob Brunning & Mark Stroud Review written by Anonymous, December 31st, 2007
Both Brunning and soloist Mark Stroud went on to become authors. Stroud who was only 9 and sang a solo on the record, also was a pupil in Bob Brunnings class. At Woodmansterne Rd Streatham, London. Stroud later changed his name to Mark Cooper after his parents divorce, moved to the United States and has become a self made millionaire and author. His current best seller is A Movement in Time with Breitling & Rolex as Unauthorised History.

Bob Brunning appeared on this album while he was teaching at Woodmansterne School in 1970. Only 500 copies of this album were produced.
The producer Chris Coffin was also a teacher at the same school, It was Chris Coffin who persuaded Bob to play on this record. Chris Coffin died in 1980.
Where are they now:
Former Fleetwood Mac bass player Bob Brunning played on the album, he is still performing 2009 with the De Luxe Blues Band in London. He has written and published three books on Rock 'n'Roll and music on the 1960's. www.brunningonline.net
Former soloist Mark A. Cooper (formely Mark Stroud) and former school pupil of Bob Brunning lives in Florida and is a New York Times best selling author. The young adult series; 'JASON STEED' has sold over 250,000 copies worldwide. More books are expected. www.markacooper.comreplica handbags online cheap replica designer handbags replica handbags
